Why do I hurt when nothing happened?

Patients often question, "Nothing happened, why do I have pain?” The answer is repetitive micro-trauma. Tight muscles lead to chemicals creating inflammatory response that starts the production of adhesions, producing restricted joints. The cycle continues round and round making the condition worse and more intense.

Is chiropractic scientific?

Chiropractic is a science, art and philosophy. It's a scientific fact that your brain and nervous system control every cell, tissue and organ of your body. Research confirms that interference to the nervous system change the way the body functions. Nerve interference is most common along the spine. Objective tests help locate these interferences, called subluxations, and precise specific chiropractic adjustments are designed to help correct and reduce them.

Do I have a slipped disc?

Separating each spinal bone is a special type of cartilaginous tissue called a disc. This disc is much like a jelly doughnut, soft on the inside, firm on the outside. These discs can bulge, tear, herniate, thin, prolapse and dry out, but do not "slip."
